NEW ORLEANS (Mar. 12, 2020) –Primary Care Plus announced that Dr. Susan L. Vaught joined its team in January 2020 as a physician at its Gretna clinic. Vaught provides patients with primary care services, including routine physicals, immunizations, and treatments for illness and injury.

Vaught earned a joint Bachelor of Science from The University of New Orleans and LSU Health Sciences Center School of Allied Health Professions (LSUHSC-SAHP) in 1977. She also earned a Master of Health Sciences in 1985 from LSUHSC-SAHP and a Doctor of Medicine in 1993 from LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans. In 1996, she completed her residency in internal medicine at the Ochsner Internal Medicine Residency Program. Before joining Primary Care Plus, she served in several clinical, academic and executive positions and has spent more than 25 years practicing internal medicine in southeast Louisiana.
